Since I'm not the best at painting normally I looked for a different way to go about this. After reading through my book I found this little bit. “Though stippling is a technique which is more used in
drawing however very few people know that this technique can be effectively
utilized in the case of painting as well” (Montgomery 325). I hadn't though about stippling with paint before though I have tried the technique with markers, which is very repetitive.
In case you weren't aware of what stippling is, "In this technique you can develop an accumulation of tiny dots" (Montgomery 343). Though the dots I used were far from small, you would be surprised how difficult this was, It still shows the same idea. I also tried to use a difference in size between dots to show a sort of texture.
In this technique a lot of small efforts create a much larger picture. Do you think this shows more in art or in other activities?
