A dirt bike clutch is a hand operated function that disengages the motor from moving forward. There are two different types of motorcycle clutchs, The original cable and the hydraulic clutch.
The original cable works by pulling the clutch lever which extends the steel cable that goes to the transmission that causes the clutch plates to separate.
In comparison to the original cable when you pull in the hydraulic clutch hydraulic fluid is compressed down the hydraulic cable to the slave cylinder. This causes the clutch plates to separate.
One is pulling the steel cable the other is forcing hydraulic fluid down the cable to separate the clutch plates. #mineraloil
